People facing homelessness are in a vulnerable situation that makes them susceptible to human trafficking. On this episode we are talking to FBI Victim Specialist, Erin Terry about human trafficking in Anchorage and Alaska.

Where can a victim of human trafficking go for help?
People who are or believe they may be victims of human trafficking may call or text the National Human Trafficking Resource Center Hotline at 888-373-7888. This hotline helps connect callers to anti-trafficking services in the area. The hotline is not a government entity or law enforcement or immigration authority. Those who wish to report incidents of human trafficking or suspected human trafficking may also call their local FBI office, local police department, or 9-1-1 if it is an emergency.
